The 4U Supermicro Slide Rails are compatible with any 4U Supermicro server. The 4U Supermicro Slide Rails only work with 4Post server racks. These rails do slide out, but they aren't equipped with ball bearings. The inner rails mount to the server prior to sliding the server into the outer rails. They are a replacement for the Supermicro slide rails.
