The rail kit for Dell PE2450, PE2550, PE2650 is compatible with a wide variety of server racks including both 4Post as well as 2Post server racks. This rail kit is a replacement for the Dell rail kit. This rail kit is a fixed mount and does not slide out on ball bearing slide rails like the Dell rail kit. This feature significantly reduces the overall cost of the rail kit. The legacy servers such as the PE2450 have rail kits that are very difficult to find. This rail kit is an excellent alternative to the older hard to find Dell rail kits.
