The Rack-to-Tower Conversion Kit for the Dell PowerEdge R900 is an economical way to utilize the R900 without having to purchase a server rack. The R900 can be quickly and easily installed in the cart, and with the casters the entire assembly can be easily moved around the office. The Dell PowerEdge R900 Server was designed to be rackmounted only. However, with the R900 Rack-to-Tower Conversion Kit, it is possible to utilize this server without having to install it in a server rack. This Rack-to-Tower Conversion Kit securely attaches to either side of the Dell R900 using the existing shoulder screws that are attached to the side of the chassis. The lid of the R900 chassis can be easily removed without removing the server from the cart. The R900 Rack-to-Tower Conversion Kit comes standard with casters that allow the R900 to be easily moved.
