Features
This highly innovative product provides a new standard in network cabling. There are no other products on the market that offer the flexibility of using the exact number of ports, the exact type of ports and the exact location of the ports. The main cable trunk is completely enclosed and out of sight. The servers are connected to the network with the shortest possible patch cables. The patch cables only need to route through the cable management arm and travel a few inches to plug into a port. It couldn't be easier.
Ultra-dense server installations will benefit greatly from this product in many ways. Offering the benefit to use the exact number of required ports is highly efficient and cost effective when considering the alternative, purchasing patch panels in the standard 8 & 12 port grouping. Making use of the shortest possible cables, while having the main cable trunk enclosed and out of sight, completely eliminates cable issues of the past.
The variety of keystone jacks makes this the perfect solution for VOIP installations. Any type of fiber optic or coax cable may be combined with the network cable leaving only the ports visible. Professional cabling contractors and other customers who have used this product say it will change their approach to infrastructure design in the future.
The LAN assembly has a 5" cabling tray that is directly behind the main cable enclosure. This tray may be used for any additional types of cables or equipment. The LAN assembly may be installed on either side of the rack and may also be installed in pairs to provide up to 200 network ports or 4 network ports per rack unit. The color coded and labeled ports quickly identify different network segments. The additional power assembly provides receptacles exactly where they need to be. The main cable trunk is routed from the overhead cable tray directly into the LAN assembly. Each cable is punched into the standard keystone jacks.
