Secure Server Unit

The Secure Server Unit (SSU) from RackSolutions protects a server by locking it in the rack and preventing access to its ports, hard drives, etc. If you have a need to secure a single server within a shared rack, the SSU is the perfect solution. The Secure Server Unit is designed to help provide extra security for sensitive data or to be used as an alternative to a colocation cabinet. The unit includes a front and rear housing which both mount to the rack and are only accessible with a key. An included top, cross bar provides additional security for the server. The SSU is designed to accommodate two, 1U or one, 2U server and uses 3U of rack space.

Each Secure Server Unit requires 2 keys and 2 locks. Select one key/lock assembly from the list of choices above for each SSU that you purchase, and you will receive two matching keys and locks per unit. If you purchase more than one SSU and you want the key/lock assemblies to be different for each unit, select a different key/lock assembly for each unit. If you prefer the key/lock assemblies to match (so that a single key will unlock multiple units) select the same key/lock assembly for each unit. The lock assemblies must be installed.

The Secure Server Unit requires a set of 2U, Universal Rack Rails. They are listed directly above. P/N: 2UKIT-109 will work with square and round hole racks. P/N: 2UKIT-109-QR is a tool-less version of the Universal Rails and will only work with square hole racks.
