Classroom Storage Rack at World’s Largest Robotics Event
GREENVILLE, TEXAS – April 19, 2017 – RackSolutions, Inc., a market leader in custom data center infrastructure solutions, is proud to sponsor the VEX Robotics World Championship for the second time. This event holds the title of the World’s Largest Robotics Competition awarded in 2016 by Guinness World Records. VEX Competitions, presented by the Robotics Education and Competition (REC) Foundation, task teams of students to design, build and program a robot to compete in a game-based engineering challenge that changes every year. During the VEX Robotics World Championship, RackSolutions will be showcasing its VEX Utility Rack – an ideal storage solution for any competitive robotics team or educational robotics classroom.

Engineers from RackSolutions and VEX Robotics, both subsidiaries of Innovation First International, collaborated to design the perfect storage solution for VEX classroom and competition kits. The rack features a customizable steel frame that allows easy configuration to meet the needs of STEM classrooms using VEX EDR and VEX IQ products. “We are happy to leverage some of our experience to bring a storage solution to this program,” continued John V-Neun.
The VEX Utility Rack features a top shelf incorporates multiple tie-down points that can be used to secure charging stations, controllers, and other creative solutions. Additionally, the rack contains three rail kits designed specifically for VEX IQ storage bins, ensuring an easy-to-use experience. Optional casters also offer classrooms added mobility. “The VEX Utility Rack gives teachers, students, and teams the ability to organize their entire VEX experience for storage in the classroom.”
