What is a center mount conversion kit?

What is a flush mount conversion kit?

Flush mount conversion kits are great for servers using 4 post rails to mount in a 2 post server rack. When the front space of your rack is limited, a flush mount conversion kit also provides an alternative to center mount conversion kits. These cantilever style mounting brackets provide 2 post racks with a similar appearance to 4 post racks. If you decide to use the flush mounting brackets, then you need to make sure that your 2 post rack is supported on the ground, which is typically done by bolting the rack to the floor.

How do I adjust the mounting depth of my server rack?

Adapter brackets are a great way to rack mount equipment that is too shallow or too deep in a server rack. To prevent rack mounting difficulties and limitations, adapter brackets are a highly configurable tool that allows you to extend or reduce the mounting depth of a server rack. By measuring the mounting depth (opens in a new tab) of your server rack, you can determine which bracket size is needed for installation. For shallow depth racks, the adapter brackets can be used for rails that extend out past the uprights. If the rails that were supplied with your server are too shallow, then the adapter bracket will provide the extra space needed to mount the rails.

Adapter brackets either increase and decrease the mounting depth of your rack. You can also stack brackets to cover more U-space.

Additionally, the 0.59” deep brackets are effective at converting round holes to square holes.

+ Can 2 Post Conversion Brackets work with shelves?

2 Post conversion brackets work the same way with shelves as they do with rails. As long as you are using a 4 post shelf and it falls within the mounting constraints of the bracket, you will be able to mount your 4 post shelf on a 2 post rack.

+ Will these converters and adapters work with my rack?
